The Reading Junior Royals bantam A travel hockey team lost to the Scranton Junior Knights AA bantam team 6-2 on Saturday January 10 2009. The team played in Delaware Sunday afternoon against the Ducks in a division rivalry playing to a 4-4 tie. Both games were non league games.

Reading JR Royals lost a non league game away to the Princeton Stars green team 3-2. The Royals did have a goal waved off with about 38 seconds left in the game to try that would have tied the game. The Royals hockey team out shot the Stars 45-24. Good Job.
